The Carver 366 Motor Yacht features contemporary motor yacht styling and Carver's advanced, raised walk-deck design that creates the roomiest cabin in this size range. The impressive cabin is warm and inviting, created by the appeal of the cherry wood cabinetry with high-gloss finish, contemporary colors and plush Ultraleather seating. Large windows and Carver's signature two-tiered window design provides light throughout the salon. Sleeping accommodations include two staterooms with a private head compartment in the master stateroom (aft). Families will enjoy the space and comfort designed into the 366's flybridge. There's a fully equipped control console and ample seating.
Construction
The hull is constructed with a solid fiberglass bottom using E-glass fiberglass cloth, premium-grade gel-coat, vinylester resin barrier coat and premium polyester resin. The stringer system is an all fiberglass composite grid system laminated into the hull while the hull is still in mold. The deck and hull sides are constructed using the same premium gel-coat and polyester resin but cored with end-grain balsa for increased strength and reduced weight. for improved structural integrity, the deck, cabin and aft deck are part of an single fiberglass component with integral aluminum truss reinforcement in the cabin top. The hull to deck joint is a "shoe box" design for greater strength.
Vessel Walk-Thru
From the enclosed aft deck, the cabin is entered via a sliding door to starboard and down four steps. As you enter the salon, the first thing you notice is the incredible amount of open space. The salon is full beam and flows right into the galley, located forward on starboard with the dinette opposite, on port. The interior is finished with cherry wood accents and rich looking soft goods. The area is wrapped in light via two tiers large windows port and starboard and a large forward windshield. There are two doors at the front of the area, the center door accesses the forward stateroom, while the door off to port is access to the forward head. At the aft end of the salon, the master stateroom is accessed via two step taking you down to a sliding door. The master does have a private head on located to port.

The arrangement of the salon has a large L-shaped settee to port, which will convert to a double berth. On starboard, there is a single barrel chair forward and a flat panel TV aft mounted in an entertainment center that also houses the AC & DC electrical panels.

The galley is at the forward end of the salon and to starboard. It is one step down from the salon area into the galley / dinette space. The galley is well appointed for preparing meals while on the water. Beneath the galley area is an enormous storage hold that is accessed thru a hatch in the sole. It is important to note that this boat is equipped with clean, burning common rail, D-6 Volvo engines, which were first offered in the 366 MY in the 2005 model year. The common rail technology electronically injects diesel into the cylinders through a pressurized fuel rail at a remarkable 26,000 PSI through computer controled electronic injectors. It is the hi-tech injectors and the incredabily high pressures that allow the engines to burn the diesel much more efficiently, dramatically reducing the smoking and noise usually associated with diesel power and providing even better economy. If you are consider a 366 MY, D-6 power is the way to go.

I have been very impressed with this 366 MY. The original owners have taken wonderful care of the vessel and kept her stored under cover. The Volvo D-6 engine package is outstanding and really makes this boat standout from the previous generations of the model (2005 was the first year the common rail engines were offered in the boat). The boat is comfortable, quite and well made. The profile is a very attractive and modern interpretation of the motor yacht arrangement. She is a boat that you can be proud to own.
